SMS/MMS Texting Terms of Service for
海角社区 Recruitment and Admissions
Note: Other university entities that offer texting services will have separate Texting
Terms of Service.
1.听When you opt-in to the service, 海角社区 will send you an SMS message from 80259 to confirm your signup.
2.听海角社区 (海角社区) may send you text messages about the university鈥檚
academic programs, recruitment and admissions events, or other items related to the
operation and function of the university's recruitment and admissions services using
SMS (Short Messaging Service) or MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service).
3.听You can cancel SMS/MMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to Unsubscribe. After
you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, 海角社区 will send you an SMS message to confirm
that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS/MMS messages
from 海角社区. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and 海角社区
will start sending SMS/MMS messages to you again.
4. If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" to Help.
After you send the SMS message "HELP" to us, 海角社区 will respond with instructions on
how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe, or you can get help directly
at askace@ulm.edu or 1-800-372-5127.
5. 海角社区 is able to deliver messages to the following mobile phone carriers in the United
States and Canada:
Major carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost
Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile.
Minor carriers: Alaska Communications Systems (ACS), Appalachian Wireless (EKN), Bluegrass Cellular,
Cellular One of East Central IL (ECIT), Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania, Cincinnati
Bell Wireless, Cricket, Coral Wireless (Mobi PCS), COX, Cross, Element Mobile (Flat
Wireless), Epic Touch (Elkhart Telephone), GCI, Golden State, Hawkeye (Chat Mobility),
Hawkeye (NW Missouri), Illinois Valley Cellular, Inland Cellular, iWireless (Iowa
Wireless), Keystone Wireless (Immix Wireless/PC Man), Mosaic (Consolidated or CTC
Telecom), Nex-Tech Wireless, NTelos, Panhandle Communications, Pioneer, Plateau (Texas
RSA 3 Ltd), Revol, RINA, Simmetry (TMP Corporation), Thumb Cellular, Union Wireless,
United Wireless, Viaero Wireless, and West Central (WCC or 5 Star Wireless).

6. 海角社区 only sends SMS/MMS message to phone numbers based in the United States and
Canada.
7.听As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from 海角社区
and to 海角社区 from you. Message frequency may vary depending on the Recruiting/Admission
services requested and any related university events associated with those services.
